The 2nd Annual A Vibe Called Rest Fest is a transformative event scheduled, for July 19, 2025, coinciding with BIPOC Mental Health Awareness Month. Supporting a core theme of highlighting art and promoting health and wellness, A Vibe Called Rest Fest is a one-day, newly incepted festival to amplify self-care, wholeness, and wellness with Queer and Trans communities of color and allies. The festival utilizes various artistic disciplines including visual art, performance art, and music to reinforce the importance of achieving physical, mental, and emotional health. Activities will include wellness speakers, art therapy, and sound healing, as well as wellness activities like yoga, massages, reiki healing, and sound baths, and will feature 15-20 vendors of artistic and/or wellness backgrounds. As advocates for mental health and wellness within marginalized communities, we believe this event will serve as a vital platform for education, healing, and community building.
